Of all the products I picked up in my recent Lush Halloween haul, Pumpkin bath bomb was the one which excited me most, so naturally I had to try it straight away.

Like most of Lush’s current range, this bath bomb takes a while to fully dissolve, releasing lots of moisturising foam as it moves slowly around the bath. Pumpkin contained oils which whilst feel amazing on the skin, are always a nightmare to scrub off the bath and this was no exception, although it’s far less messy than something like Lava Lamp.

Pumpkin doesn’t contain any glitter so I crumbed off a little of the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar which worked well alongside the Pumpkin bathbomb. The scent of this bath bomb was lovely but didn’t fill the bathroom and linger as well as others which is a shame. I think I would have liked a bit of a twist in terms of the centre, as it’s a pumpkin and there’s the whole trick or treat metaphor, but at least some glitter wouldn’t have gone a miss.

On the whole I really enjoyed this bath bomb and have already repurchased, but in terms of the scent and filling it felt like more of an everyday product than a novelty Halloween release.

Have you tried this bathbomb? What did you think of it?
