Lush Cardiff #lushwinter2015 blogger event

Bath & Shower

I was really excited to be invited to the Lush Winter 2015 event at my local store, Lush Cardiff. If you read my blog I’m sure you’re already aware of my addiction to all things Lush and I couldn’t wait to attend my first Lush blogger event.

Introducing their Winter collection, the evening had a Christmassy feel with mulled wine and mince pies laid on.

When the products first landed in-store, I stocked up on bath bits & pieces (and of course my beloved Snow Fairy) but a lot of the products were not yet on display. Now the Halloween products have left shelves, the shop has been filled with festive treats.

I love seeing Snow Fairy back in-store, it’s probably my favourite Lush scent.

On display upstairs is a Santa’s belly made entirely from the shower jelly: Santa’s Belly. Wobbling it was strangely satisfying.

My Christmas wishlist has grown considerably after seeing all the adorable gift sets they have this year.

The smell of cinnamon caught my attention and I wondered over to watch a demo of The Magic Of Christmas, where I met one of the Lush staff Aimee and 3 lovely Cardiff bloggers: Katie, Jessie and Rebecca.

Aimee showed us the Lush advent calendar, the cover of which was actually illustrated by one of the Lush staff here in Cardiff. I love the idea of 12 baths in a row!

Aimee gave us a VIP tour of the store, introducing us to loads of new products we hadn’t tried from the skin and hair sections. We then headed upstairs for some pampering and to try out the products for ourselves.

We tried a hand scrub, various moisturisers and hand creams and some of the shower products, all of which smelled amazing.

I tend to gravitate towards the bath and shower products so it was great to find out more about the body products.

The evening finished with the chance to do some after hours shopping so I stocked up on the products I tried and a few bits and pieces I missed. Lush Cardiff gave us a little bloggers treat bag as we left, which was a lovely surprise.

Big thanks to Aimee, the rest of the Lush Cardiff & Lush PR team and the other bloggers I met for making it such a fun event.

Look out for my haul post on the weekend! x

Omgosh, this sounded like SO much fun. I wish the Bristol broadmead store would host events! It’s always the mall or cribbs!

It was a really fun event with an awesome turn out – I can’t even think where the next Lush store is for us, likely Cribbs! Hopefully your local store starts doing events too 🙂 x
